What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a psychological therapy that can help you make physical and emotional changes . A trained hypnotherapist uses hypnosis to guide you into a deep relaxation and focussed concentration known as the ‘hypnotic state’. This state can occur naturally, like daydreaming, but in hypnotherapy, a practitioner induces it. This allows you to become more open to suggestions, which can help you make changes to your health, such as breaking a habit, overcoming a phobia, or reducing symptoms from other health conditions.
